What is Troweltex?

Troweltex is a premixed acrylic based product that has an even textured decorative finish. Trowltex also has a minimum life of 10 years and comes in a wide range of colours.

Preparation

All existing render or pebbledashing is stripped back to the brickwork. The surface is then washed down.

Fixing corner & bellcast beads

U.P.V.C corner and bellcast beads are fixed to doors, windows and corners during or after scratch coat been applied. This leaving clean edges to finished work.

Application

A scratch coat of polymer render with waterproofer in is applied to the surface. Then a second coat of mortar render is applied. The walls are now ready to receive the top coat of troweltex, which is applied using a steel float and hawk.
